You may be only one voter, but when REALTORS® in Texas act together, you have huge voting power—154,000 strong! And your vote affects your business.
Real estate is one of the most highly regulated industries. By engaging in political advocacy, the association can protect and maintain relationships with elected officials who can help achieve common goals. “TREPAC is regarded as one of the most respected political action committees in the state,” says 2022 TREPAC Chairman Nancy Garcia. “People know who we are and that we get things done.”

I’m sad to see that there is no mention that if democracy does not prevail, there will not be the luxury of investing in your own business.
Just because I am a member of TAR does not give you a right to imply that I support the candidates you do. Get TAR out of politics by making TARPAC 100% separate. No free advertising in Texas Realtor. No use of TAR email lists. No using the term “Realtor”.
and probably no property sold, because the government will own everything!
I totally agree, they need to stop suggesting who we should vote for. It’s not representative of our values.
Some of the candidates you suggest to support are not supporting property rights and I feel Texas Realtors really need to look further into the candidates positions on important issues to ranchers and other property owners, like taxes, eminent domain. We are not a democracy, we are a republic. Sad you don’t know that. China and Venezuela are great examples of democracies.
Parroted talking points aren’t useful. We are a democratic republic, precisely.
Sad you don’t know know any of which you speak of.
I was planning to vote for most of these candidates and am hoping they work out!
TRE-PAC gives money to candidates that continue to FAIL Texans. Let’s be clear, you are backing a party that takes RIGHTS away from women, continues to make unproven election fraud claims and threatens to roll back consumer protection laws, both federal and statewide. These things are unacceptable in a democracy. As a member of both TAR & NAR, we are ethically accountable for upholding the law, protecting our clients against discrimination and ensuring our actions are in the best interests of our clients. Politicians should be held to the same professional and ethical standard that we are as realtors. By… Read more »
